A first walk through the cards, the ledger, and the calculator.
Search a ticker or a company name from the homepage. Every card shows the same things: the yield and what kind it is, the payout or coverage check, the dividend history in one line, the House verdict, and the line that says what would change the verdict. Below the verdict, the card links to more cards in the same room.
All checks pass: good. One caution and no fail: warn. Any fail: bad. The full rules behind each check are published on the Methodology page, with the pass, caution, and fail bands for every metric.
Every grade change is logged with its date and reason on the ledger, and the Weekly House Score reports each week's changes free on this site. Nothing changes silently.
The blended yield calculator takes typed-in picks and weights and returns the blended yield and dollars per year from snapshot yields: arithmetic on historical yields only, not advice. It starts at zero, and a calculator-only acknowledgment sits beside it.
The House Dictionary defines each dividend term in one plain sentence, with what to watch for. The Finance section explains household money mechanics in the same plain style: budgets, credit card debt, automatic bill paying, the emergency cushion, and how dividends work.
