For most U.S. dividends, the ex-dividend date is the same business day as the record date, since one-day settlement began in May 2024. To receive the payment, buy by the close of the business day before the ex-dividend date. That is the last day to buy column: a date fact, not advice. A purchase on the ex-dividend date or later goes to the seller. Very large distributions follow a different rule, so check the company announcement.
Amounts stay blank until the issuer announces them. Funds that confirm their amount shortly before the ex-date show their latest actual month in the note underneath. Past ex-dates drop off at the Sunday refresh. The Weekly House Score carries the same dates with commentary.
